Time Rounding feature helps you automatically round the time entries logged by your team. This ensures consistent billing and simplifies calculations—especially when you bill clients based on hours worked.
You can choose how rounding applies depending on your billing type. The rounding affects how billable hours are calculated and displayed in invoices.
1. Hourly Project Rate
If your project is billed at a fixed hourly rate for the entire project, the rounding will apply to all logged hours before calculating the total billable amount.
2. Hourly Person Rate
When each person has a different hourly rate, the rounding applies individually to each team member’s logged time before the system multiplies it by their respective rate.
3. Hourly Task Rate
If each task has a different hourly rate, the rounding applies per task entry before calculating the total billable time for that task.
4.Fixed Price Project
For fixed-price projects, time rounding is still available for reporting purposes. Although it doesn’t affect the total billing amount, it ensures consistency in time tracking and reporting.
